Day 19 – Courtship
Day 19: Courtship
Does your OC get involved romantically or sexually with anybody? When do they first fall for them or get involved? If they fall in love, when does it happen? Does the relationship last?
For the aromantic or uninvolved: Do they have a serious platonic relationship with anyone? How does it begin? Does it last?
Amara is more of a “no strings attached” kind of person when she comes into the Inquisition. Casual and superficial relationships are the only ones she feels she can handle. It starts like that with Sera as well. They start a very light and noncommittal relationship. It take quite a while until Amara slowly realises that she developed serious feelings for Sera. With Bull their relationship also starts off purely physical. Though they do share a very relaxed and easygoing friendship at this point already. He even helps her sort out her feelings for Sera when she is overwhelmed by them. She tries her best to not get too emotionally attached to him, knowing that there is no such things as a romantic relationship under the Qun. For the longest time she doesn’t even want to admit to herself that she has feelings for him that are definitely not friendship. Mainly because she fears he can never reciprocate them. It turns out that he actually does. With Sera she realised that it’s not just a casual thing while dancing on the balcony of the Winter Palace. With Bull it is the night after they come back from the fade in Adamant. Both relationships, though rocky at some times, last.
Lyssa falls in love with Solas on their way to Skyhold. They have become close on their travels through the Hinterlands, the Storm Coast and the Fallow Mire, sharing knowledge and interests. Her fascination for old ruins, history and lost knowledge matches his and concerning herbs and healing she can actually teach him a few things. She cannot put a special moment to her falling in love and her love lasts. She never ends the relationship for she sees the good in him and will try everything she can to make him be at home in this world.
